The gardens are really starting to bloom just as we open back up to the public. The rockery is especially looking great at the moment.
The gardens are opening tomorrow Saturday 1st May. Hand sanitizer is at the donation box and by the gate from the ruins to the front garden.
Unfortunately there will not be a public toilet available this year.
We are hoping to open the gardens again on the 1st May.
Following Government advice the gardens will continue to remain closed for April 2021. We will continue to follow the updates and hope to open again soon.
The gardens are to remain closed at this time in order for us to complete the essential maintenance that was started at the beginning of this year.
We regret that Ardchattan Gardens will remain closed until such time as it is safe to open. This website will be updated as necessary.
We are very sorry not to be welcoming visitors this April, but for the health and safety of everyone and in line with government advice, we feel it is the sensible decision.
Over the next few weeks the main gates , driveway and car park will be closed in order to facilitate works to the driveway. All should be complete for the garden to open in April. Access to the ruins can be gained via the track from the pier.
