At long last the day of the fete is growing near. The gardens are looking stunning after all the excellent weather we’ve been having, and we are getting ready for all the visitors on Sunday.
Sunday 26th July
12pm – 4pm
Entry: adults £4, children 16 and under free.
Bouncy castle, lunches, teas, live music, miniature train rides, plant stall, games, and much more.
Proceeds go to the local Scout and Guide groups.
Only 3 weeks to go until the Ardchattan Fete ….. book the date Sunday 27th July in your diaries now!
The perfect day out for all the family with live music, teas, lunches, cake and bottle stalls, games and activities for children plus pony and trap rides, all set in the beautiful surroundings of Ardchattan Priory Gardens. Hope to see you there!
Why not visit the Priory ruins at the same time as exploring the gardens. Originally built in 1230 by the MacDougall’s, the site contains some fine grave stones plus the MacDougall Cross.
The gardens are looking beautiful, and a bit of blue sky sets them off perfectly!
The gardens have been looking fantastic through the Easter holidays, and there is plenty of colour … come and have a look!
The gardens are open once again, and the daffodils and other spring bulbs are in full bloom …. catch them quick!
There is still plenty of colour in the gardens, and just that first hint of autumn coming with the rowans in berry.
This weekend saw the Ardchattan fete take place, thanks to a huge amount of hard work from the local Guides, Scouts, families and individuals. As a result over £2,400 was raised to be shared among local charities. Despite the damp weather there were plenty of people here to enjoy the fabulous lunches, teas, baking and family activities.
With less than a week to go until the fete, the gardens are looking wonderful.
After a week of sunshine and showers, the garden is looking very lush, and there is something of interest in each area …. too much to cover right now though, you’ll have to come and see for yourself!
